What “degaussing” means here
In crystal-care traditions, “degaussing” is a common English translation of the Chinese term 消磁. Here it describes a culturally rooted ritual of symbolic cleansing, rest, and reset for crystals and jewelry. Physical cleaning, polishing, and sterilizing remain separate care processes chosen for the material of each item.

How to use
- Spread the crystal chips evenly inside the dry bowl.
- Place a clean, dry crystal bracelet, pendant, necklace, silver piece, or other metal jewelry gently on top.
- Allow it to rest for a period that suits your personal practice, then remove and store the jewelry as usual.
Care note: Loose crystal chips can scratch silver, plated finishes, soft metals, soft stones, pearls, and delicate surfaces. Use a soft cloth or small fabric pouch as a barrier when needed. Keep the set dry and away from small children and pets.
